FAQ
Questions contractors ask.
Frequently asked questions
Is this just direct mail?
No. Mail is one of eight pillars. A campaign can also include the market research behind it, community sponsorships and events, your signs and printed materials, local search, paid Google and Facebook ads, the offer itself and the tracking. The research decides which ones your area actually needs.
Do I have to take all eight?
No, and you should not. It is not a menu to order from — it is the list we choose from. A campaign that does three things properly beats one that does eight things thinly.
What does it cost?
There are no fixed packages. Direct mail is quoted per campaign with design, printing and postage included — one price. Everything else is scoped on the estimate, against the market, the channels and the quantities. On the paid ad pillars you pay the platforms for ad spend and us for the work, and we say which is which in writing.
Who runs my ads and my listings?
We do, as the work is quoted. You keep ownership of your own accounts, your Google Business Profile and your domain. Nothing is set up in a way that holds your own listings hostage if you leave.
How do you decide which houses and which streets?
We start from the addresses you have worked recently and build outward by postal carrier route, staying inside the drive radius you are willing to serve. Where it helps, we follow the build year of the subdivision rather than the city or ZIP line. The ad radius and the sign placement follow the same map.
I am a one-truck operation. Is this for me?
Yes. A smaller campaign on tighter streets is often the better version of this, because every call comes from somewhere you can reach in fifteen minutes.
Do I have to supply photos of my own work?
No, but your own job photos make better material than anything else we can use. If you do not have usable ones, we design around that instead of inventing them.
Will you put reviews or star ratings on my materials?
Only real ones that you can point to. We do not write reviews, invent ratings, make up years in business or add awards you have not won.
Can I see everything before it goes out?
Yes. Nothing prints, posts, mails or goes live until you have approved it.
How do I know what worked?
One offer with one code across every channel, a tracked phone number that forwards to your line, QR codes and landing pages, and the question asked at the front desk. We call this a directional signal rather than a complete count, because people lose the card and call the number on the truck.
Do you guarantee calls or jobs?
No. We do not guarantee customers, calls, jobs, rankings or return on spend, and we will not pretend otherwise to win the work.
What areas do you work in?
The business is run from Chicago’s western suburbs, and the mail and digital pillars are run from here for contractors elsewhere too. The in-person pillars — events and sponsorships — depend on where you are. Ask about your area; if it is not a fit, we will say so.
